  • Mar 30, Annual Youth Trout Derby - Annual Youth Trout Derby, March 28th, 8am-11am at Yoctangee Lake, Yoctangee Park, Chillicothe. Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Department announce the Annual Youth Trout Fishing Derby. The ODNR, Division of Wildlife will release Trout in Yoctangee Lake on Friday. Fishing for the general public will not be permitted until after the derby. The Fishing Derby is for children ages 5 – 15. The 5 fish bag limit will be enforced. First bike out at 11 a.m., last bike out at 1 p.m. BBQ dinner at beach from 3-6 p.m. Covering approximately 100 miles, motorcyclists or motorists will stop at many parks and lakes, including Ash Cave.
